The partnership between America and EstrelaBet became the largest sponsorship deal in the club’s history, as had already been anticipated by GMB. EstrelaBet, which is increasingly consolidating itself on the sports scene, has struck a two-year deal with America. In the agreement between the parties, actions are planned on social networks, actions of relationship with fans and brand exposure in the premises of the club. For Marcus Salum, president of América SAF, the goal is to put the club on another level on the national stage. In 2023, ‘Coelho’ will compete for the first time in the Copa Sul-Americana. According to Rafael Zanette, head of sponsorships at EstrelaBet, the deal is of great importance to both parties, given that it is the largest in the history of the club from Mina Gerais. In addition, Zanette extols America's growth in recent years.
"We have all followed the growth of the club in recent seasons. For the second year in a row, América will compete in a continental competition. In 2022, it reached the group stage of the Libertadores. This year, there's the Copa Sul-Americana ahead of it. América, through its social networks, announced the largest sponsorship agreement in its history with some interactive pieces involving its mascot, the ‘Coelhão’.
