“BetConstruct will expand the markets of its operation, with LatAm as a focal point”

BetConstruct closed a 2022 full of challenges and faces a promising 2023 in which it will seek to continue growing. Anna Shahbazyan, Latin America Regional Director, reviews with GMB the company's performance in 2022 with multiple developments and launches that were very well received by the industry, and anticipates some keys for 2023: “Our growth in Latin America is quite visible and we anticipate the increase of our operations within other countries such as Brazil and Mexico.”

GMB: What is your assessment of the performance and growth of BetConstruct in 2022? Was it what you expected or did it exceed your expectations?
Anna Shahbazyan - 2022 has been full of challenges for us. We have introduced our well-known brands such as CreedRoomz in LATAM with very good reception. We have also had important launches such as Fastex, which is the result of all the values that we hold close to us, created to once again refine and redefine the boundaries of the iGaming industry. A complete Web 3.0-driven ecosystem that is designed to close the gap between iGaming and Web 3.0.Fastex ecosystem operates as a branded house for Fastex products, including Fastex Verse, ftNFT marketplace, Fastex Chain, Fastex Pay crypto payment system, Fasttoken and Fastex Exchange crypto exchange platform. Opening up a vast network of millions of users and thousands of partners, Fastex aims to provide effective solutions.

The acquisition of partners and their sustainability have been the value measurement that we have considered and that we are going to strengthen in 2023, prioritizing quality.
 

Could you list the main achievements or objectives met?
At SoftConstruct we work hard to surpass ourselves; while this effort and dedication have been translated into awards and recognitions such as the best Sportsbook provider of the year for BetConstruct or the best online casino operator of the year for Vbet or the innovator of the year for FeedConstruct. Our greatest recognition is the growth of our partners. To be born and grow with them is our greatest achievement.
 

In your sector within the industry, what topics or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2023? What will be the main future trends?
We have been a technology and innovation company since our creation until today. We have always accompanied technological changes and adopted innovation as part of our business strategy. We have been pioneers in the application of artificial intelligence for, for example, live chat to the users of our platform. We can predict your concerns and proactively answer your questions without the need for manual intervention, thus avoiding long delays or waits in answering your questions. We have also developed solutions for transactions using blockchain technology, among other innovations in the world of computer science, whether or not they come directly from online gaming. Our partners and users choose us knowing that together with BetConstruct they will be at the forefront of technology.

This industry is very dynamic and variable, trends may or may not be sustained over time. E-sports and virtual reality are trends that have been growing steadily every year and we believe that this year they will position themselves even more. In general, the innovative development of content in the different products is mandatory for a supplier if it wants to be competitive.
 

Did you notice that the Brazilian gaming market made progress this year or did it miss another opportunity? What do you see the regulation of the sector in the country for 2023?
Our growth in Latin America is quite visible and we anticipate the increase of our operations within other countries such as Brazil and Mexico. Our offices are a living proof of the scale that we aim for. While gambling laws are forming per region we can’t just sit back and wait for approval from authorities. The smartest move is to study the regions, investigate gaming cultures and player behaviors. Brazil is a market that is constantly growing, although it is not yet regulated, it is a mature and productive market. In BetConstruct we are waiting for the regulation, in case it is approved we are prepared to respond positively to be the support that operators require in their suppliers.
 

What are the main goals/objectives of BetConstruct for 2023?
We are going to expand the markets of our operation. LatAm and Africa are the focal points right now. Even though we are not newcomers to both of the markets, we have big plans for the regions. When creating our software, we initially take into account its utilization across all possible regions. For this case specifically the challenge - which is more of an objective rather than a challenge - is to adapt the existing technology to the needs of local operators and the demands of their players. And I am absolutely positive it is achievable for BetConstruct.

As always, the well-being of our operators is what comes first for us. For that, we are very keen to obtain new licenses and push to new markets, explore more player tendencies and preferences to craft new games, or quench the existing demand. We keep our pace up and continue delivering a strong powerful platform bursting with products, services, and solutions.

Indeed, there are several new products and services planned for launch in the upcoming year. The details will be announced in due course. We will concentrate our main focus on delivering the best quality both for our business partners and for the customers. We will enhance our current tools, games, services and develop them according to current industry requirements.
