GMB - What is your assessment of Betmotion's performance and growth in 2022? Was it what you expected or did it exceed expectations?
Fernanda Gomes - The year 2022 was very good for Betmotion. We reached our goals following the plan outlined and created many actions for the brand to be increasingly recognized. We launched a new “front end”, focused on bringing the player an even more extraordinary experience. We brought a new “layout” and focused on improving the usability of the site, making it more intuitive. We have evolved in several points such as navigability, facilities and payment and we also guarantee excellence in customer service. This resulted in a great deal of confidence on their part to play with us.
Could you list the main accomplishments or goals achieved?
As I said, the new “front end” was one of the main actions of the year. Ensuring an excellent player experience was a focus of the year and will always be, as we understand that ensuring the best usability in the market for the player is one of the most important differentiators for the industry, resulting in loyalty and retention.
In addition, we launched several promotional actions in the period, all delivering excellent benefits to users. We launched a promotion for Christmas and for the World Cup, in addition to the incredible ‘Viagem dos Sonhos’ (Voyage of Dreams), which offered the winner a trip between Maldives, Paris or Orlando, as they chose. We activated the NBB in the first half with a spectacular fan zone. We created actions with Negrete, BR Futsal and Mackenzie Dern, some of our ambassadors. There were many brand movements to close 2022 with a great result. And we were recently awarded at the SBC Awards, crowning a successful year.
In your sector within the industry, what topics or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2023? What will be the future trends?
We believe that with regulation everyone will be focused on providing the best possible player experience. This includes a variety of markets, increasingly user-friendly sites and facilities for service, deposit and payment. We use technologies certified by Salsa, our provider, focusing on always being up to date in the use of the best tools. I repeat, our focus will be on always being at the forefront of these advances, with the user increasingly at the center of strategies and guaranteeing them the best experience on the market.
Have you noticed that the Brazilian gaming market has evolved this year, or has it missed another opportunity? What do you see about the regulation in the country for 2023?
Without a doubt, regulation is the most awaited and necessary move for the industry right now. It is crucial that it happens so that we have an industry that is increasingly professional and widespread to the user. The movement is happening and we are confident that this regulation will come out in 2023. We are following the movements and we believe that they will be accelerated so that we have its finalization in the second half. We are working hard so that Betmotion becomes one of the first sites to operate with a license in Brazil.
What are Betmotion's main goals/objectives for 2023?
A very important point is, in fact, the regulation in the country. As mentioned, the license is a major focus for Betmotion. With this, we will evolve a lot in our plans throughout 2023 further expanding the reach of our brand and creating moments of closeness with users. And continuing to ensure the best usability and the best customer experience remains a top priority for us. Rest assured that we will have a lot of news for next season.
