The decision was motivated by Upsports' preference to announce to center activities in the south and southeast of Brazil.
According to the ABC director, there is already another company in the "sight" and he believes that during the next days everything will be defined.
According to 96 FM sports journalist Rodrigo Ferreira, UP arrived at ABC last year paying the club R$ 80,000 (US$ 14,800) per month, and the contract provided for doubling the investment in case of access to Série B. That is, in 2023 the sponsorship would be R$ 160 thousand (US$ 29,600) per month.
