In his recent experiences, Figueiredo had a brief stint at LiveMode and had left the NSports streaming platform earlier this year.
Betano is the title sponsor of the Copa do Brasil, holds the naming rights for the Série B of the Campeonato Brasileiro, and sponsors advertising boards in 17 of the 20 Serie A clubs. The company is also the main sponsor of Atlético-MG and Fluminense.
Previously, the position was held by Alexandre Fonseca, who left the Greek company to become the new CEO of the betting house Superbet Brasil.
Betano is part of the Kaizen Gaming group from Greece. In addition to Brazil, the company has betting operations in Portugal, Romania, Germany, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Canada.
