"BMM will open laboratories in Brazil to have the same infrastructure as other jurisdictions"

When talking about BMM, it can no longer be treated as just a laboratory, but as a global company providing solutions for the gaming sector. At their G2E Las Vegas booth, Marzia Turrini, VP Latam and Europe, gave an exclusive interview to GMB. The executive expressed her delight with the license that the state of Paraná granted to BMM for certification. 'We are ready for our clients to turn Brazil into the second-largest gaming market in the world,' Turrini stated.

GMB: ¿How's business for BMM?
Marzia Turrini:
We are marking another year participating in this trade show, and this time we can say that BMM is finally accompanied by our sister companies: Big Cyber and RG24. In fact, we have focused heavily on expanding our new divisions in recent years. Big Cyber is our cybersecurity division, and RG24 is our training platform for everything related to Responsible Gaming, anti-money laundering, and more.

We are truly dedicated to the gaming industry, not only in terms of compliance and certifications. Today, we understand perfectly that the issue of cyberattacks is very relevant. The industry has recently witnessed a very significant attack. So, we all need to be very aware that it is crucial to protect ourselves and our players.

So, from what you're saying, we can deduce that the industry is paying close attention to BMM's solutions, right?
Correct. BMM provides a 360-degree solution. It's no longer just about certification, quality, and compliance in general. We offer everything necessary to make this industry stronger in every sense.

And how are BMM's businesses going, especially in Latin America and the United States?
We are very pleased with the results of this year. We anticipate another year of growth in 2023. We've been growing year by year, and there are high expectations throughout the Latin American region. We are looking forward to online gaming in the Peruvian and Chilean markets. And, of course, we have high hopes for Brazil.

Brazil is close to regulate online sports betting, and perhaps later, land-based operations. What do you think about that?
Well, fantastic, fantastic! BMM specializes in all aspects of gaming certification, whether it's in-person or online. Therefore, we are prepared to provide our clients in the Brazilian market with all the services they need and help make this country the second-largest gaming industry in the world.

What are BMM's plans for Brazil when the law is passed?
Well, we have been approved by the regulator in the state of Paraná, and we already have a license to operate there. We are very pleased, and there is no doubt that we will be present in Brazil. We will open our laboratory and establish all the same infrastructure that we have in all our other jurisdictions.

Can BMM start its operations in Paraná this October?
Yes, exactly. We are ready and waiting for our clients to want to get certified in this state.
