UOL announces renewal of LiveOdds 2024 project with Sportingbet and Aposta Ganha

A month and a half ago, UOL presented its Upfront to the market with products targeted towards the betting industry, with the flagship project of LiveOdds, currently considered one of the largest in the world in terms of volume and exposure, capable of reaching numbers that exceed the billions. For 2024, the ownership will be in the hands of Sportingbet and Aposta Ganha.

The innovative LiveOdds project from UOL, the most important news portal in Brazil, has just been renewed for the 2024 season, with Sportingbet confirmed for National, South American, and now also Regional championships, adding another league to the client's composition. The European championships for the 23/24 season are under the control of Aposta Ganha.

With this configuration, UOL begins 2024 with 100% of its main project fully commercialized, once again underscoring its relevance and importance in the industry.

"After nearly a month of negotiations, we are extremely happy to announce that this property is 100% occupied. This is a product that goes far beyond simple media delivery. We offer sponsors the opportunity to become synonymous with the category in the digital environment, as we're talking about an uninterrupted, massive, and exclusive presence, allowing the brand to be online for over 300 days a year, 24/7, on the country's best and most qualified inventory," says Guilherme Frioli, head of the segment at UOL.

Other properties presented in the Upfront are still under negotiation, such as the Olympics, Copa America, Daily Rounds, Carnauol, VerãoUol, among others.

According to Frioli, the expectation is that UOL will enter 2024 with almost 90% of its main assets for the industry being commercialized, and he also mentions that two more significant projects are in the final stages of production and should be announced soon.

"We are a restless company, thirsty for innovation, and being a pioneer in developing new products is in our DNA. After listening to operators' needs and seeing communication gaps that had not yet been explored, we began working on solutions that connect users and operators even more.”

In addition to the solutions already known, this week UOL also announced an agreement with Microsoft, which will take over all of the company's inventory in Brazil. This means that all advertising spaces in the ecosystem of Microsoft platforms (with the exception of the Bing search engine) will now be commercialized by UOL.

The combination of the inventory of both companies will keep UOL in the leading position among Brazilian publishers, and it also opens up another important media space for the gambling industry to expand their communication efforts.
