The FFP president mentioned that he had previously been reluctant to bring a betting company to sponsor the state championship due to "issues", as he stated in an interview.
"As for sponsorship, we are in talks with a sports betting company. I never wanted a betting company because there have always been these issues, and I was afraid. But now that everything is clearer, we are in talks with a betting company to see if we can bring them here to sponsor the championship," Robert Brown reported.
The FFP president also revealed a partnership with the State Government for the 2024 Piauí State Championship. According to Robert Brown, he has a meeting scheduled with the Piauí State Sports Department for next Monday. He stated that financial support is guaranteed for the upcoming season.
"This year, the government provided assistance, and they have already committed to providing support for next year's championship. As we had this meeting today (with the clubs), everything is already settled," said FFP’s president.
