This operation will begin as soon as all integration steps are completed and tests are carried out, thus ensuring the security of all systems involving this lottery operation.
With this Tuesday's authorization, there are now four sports betting companies authorized to operate in the State, as long as all stages of integration of sports betting companies with the Management and Payment Methods Platform contracted by Lottopar have been completed.
Lottopar's operations director, Fabio Veiga, highlights the importance of this stage, since “only after this integration phase and with the carrying out of several tests will companies effectively be able to start operations throughout the territory of Paraná. Thus, bettors will be guaranteed to bet with companies authorized by Lottopar, on safe and legal sites. Furthermore, we are centralizing lottery operations on a single platform, in order to guarantee greater operational control.”
The president of Lottopar highlights the State's environment for attracting new companies in the lottery sector, as “since we launched the Notice for the accreditation of fixed-odd betting operators, Paraná has obtained one of the highest numbers of companies interested in participating in this process.”
“Today, with yet another company being authorized to begin the integration stage, Paraná is consolidating itself as one of the Federation’s entities at the forefront of sports betting. We are working with the aim of creating a safe and healthy environment for bettors and operators, while at the same time providing new investments in the quality of life of the people of Paraná,” highlighted Daniel Romanowski.
“Bringing Pixbet to Paraná in a regulated manner is a source of pride for all of us. The perspective is that we will be able to operate in the State, bringing revenue, jobs and income, as well as entertainment for bettors, entertainment that is gaining more and more space in Brazil,” said Pixbet partner, Diomar Tadeu Dantas de Farias.
Where to bet
With the entry into operation of the first fixed-odd betting companies (AQF), bettors will be informed through extensive advertising on the main radio stations throughout Paraná with guidance on Lottopar, the lottery modality and how they will be able to access the websites betting companies authorized to operate in the State.
Furthermore, on the Lottopar portal, a banner with information about the start of operations is visible on the main page and the player, when clicking on it, will be directed to this page within the Lottopar portal itself. This page contains information on companies authorized to offer sports betting in Paraná and which are still in the integration phase with the Lottopar platform, in addition to the bettor having access to information about each concessionaire and access to the portal of authorized sports betting companies.
Blocking illegals
With the regulation of sports betting consolidated in Paraná and with Lottopar advancing in the stage of integrating the first operators, the State will soon have authorized and legalized companies operating throughout the territory of Paraná.
Those companies that are not authorized by Lottopar will not be able to offer sports betting in the State's jurisdiction. To ensure a healthy and safe lottery environment for bettors in Paraná, Lottopar began extra judicially notifying unauthorized sports betting sites, informing them that from the first day of operation of authorized companies, other unauthorized sites will be operating illegally throughout the territory of Paraná.
Accreditation
Lottopar published notice n° 001/23 for the accreditation of lottery operators to operate sports betting (fixed-odd bets) in the State. The notice is permanently open. In this first stage of accreditation, eight sports betting companies participated. Interested parties can consult the notice at this link.
The event was attended by the representatives of Lottopar Daniel Romanowski (president), Rogério Cesar Nogueira (administrative-financial director), Fabio Veiga (operations director), Rafael Halila (technical director), Stefanny Fernandes (Chief of Staff); and also by Pixbet's legal representative, Camila Fernandes, and Pixbet's partner, Diomar Tadeu Dantas de Farias.
