“Salsa Technology listens to operators to deliver the best platform and satisfy its users”

Salsa Tecnology, developer of an iGaming platform with Brazilian DNA and deep knowledge of the LatAm market, attended SBC in Miami with a stand showing this “Brazilianness”. CTO Diego Mourglia welcomed GMB for an exclusive interview, when he highlighted the safety and robustness of the product and Salsa's vocation of being close to operators to invest in what they need to deliver the best experience to end customers.

GMB – In the iGaming sector, one of the most important issues is offering a safe and robust platform. How did Salsa Technology develop its system?
Diego Mourglia –
We have more than ten years of experience in the sector alongside partners who have helped us develop a technology very focused on Latin America and very close to operators, which allows us to understand their needs. From a security point of view, it is very important to continue investing to keep it always very safe, robust and stable. This is what we focus on, as it has 100% impact on the operation’s business.

Does the end user realize all this when compared to other platforms available on the market?
We believe so, as we are guided by usability and being close to the user to understand what the best paths are and so that they know how to quickly reach the deposit and withdrawal areas and reduce the number of clicks to meet their objective. Being close to operators means we have a much more suitable platform in the Latin American market.

There is a lot of talk about ChatGPT and artificial intelligence. How does this apply to platform development?
We are starting to implement AI technology mainly by our development team, improving our development processes and using these tools to offer the best that the market needs.

Is it a simple process?
I don't know if we can talk about a simple process. We are getting involved in this, which guarantees optimization and reduction of development costs. We definitely like all of this a lot, we are making a lot of progress in these tools and will continue to do so in the coming years as this technology progresses.

Technologically, what are Salsa's plans for 2024?
We remain very focused on everything that involves certifications. Our entire platform is already GLI-33 certified and within a month at most we will also be certifying GLI-19. Furthermore, we are very attentive to movements in Brazil so that we can implement everything required from a regulatory and certification point of view. We want to be prepared for this country.

Are you doing the same with the game aggregator?
Of course. Our game aggregator has more than 90 providers and we continue to add new partners. I believe that this aspect is very strong. Our games catalog is immense and we continue to analyze which new providers are possible to integrate with our aggregator to increase the games catalog in a way that guarantees success for operators and the complete satisfaction of their final customers, the bettors
