The piece was developed in honor of Reginaldo Rossi, precursor of brega music in Pernambuco and throughout Brazil. A partner of Galo da Madrugada, with guaranteed exposure in the association's parades during the following year, Esportes da Sorte was also a sponsor and had a stand at Novembro Brega, where they sold official Galo shirts.
Sales took place during the event, costing R$25 at the brand's stand. The normal price was R$40. Furthermore, when purchasing the shirt at the Esportes da Sorte stand, the buyer was also guaranteed R$10 to bet on the platform, if they registered.
“Previously, we had already signed an agreement to become the main partner of Galo da Madrugada, for the second year in a row. Now, we are very happy to have sponsored Novembro Brega and to have been able to promote special actions during the start of sales of the official shirt for Carnival 2024,” highlighted Ícaro Quinteiro, COO of Grupo Esportes da Sorte.
“We are extremely pleased to have been next to this historic block recognized worldwide. As Pernambuco, we are also proud to represent our state to the whole world,” added Quinteiro.
The Novembro Brega initiative aimed to enhance the main local cultural events. In the city, the rhythm was established as Intangible Heritage of Recife, and in the month of November, as Brega official in the capital of Pernambuco.
The presentations were composed by renowned names from different generations of Brega from Pernambuco, such as Conde Só Brega, Michelle Mello, Banda Labaredas, MC Troia, Tayara Andreza, Sheldon, Walter de Afogados, Eduarda Alves, among others.
With the theme of the club's parade already defined for Carnival 2024, which was in honor of Reginaldo Rossi, the shirt launched also followed the same path. The model brought a rooster with glasses, an accessory that was characteristic of the singer, surrounded by the Reginaldo Rossi theme in Reinado do Frevo.
The piece of clothing also featured elements that referenced the flag of Pernambuco, with the Sun and the rainbow, as well as allusions to the singer's songs, strong colors and references to the historic houses in the center of Recife.
