“The effective fight against the manipulation of sports competitions requires agile, fast, sustainable and effective national and international cooperation, with dialogue and cooperation between public authorities, sports organizations, competition organizers and sports betting operators at national and international level,” said Ednaldo Rodrigues.
For him, this is essential in the search for common effective responses to the challenges posed by the problem of manipulating sports competitions. “This Integrity Unit will work permanently on these issues,” he highlighted.

The son of, at the time, president Jair Bolsonaro was accused of leading a criminal organization to collect part of the salaries of former public servants for his own benefit, which would constitute the so-called “rachadinha”.
