Rei do Pitaco receives Seal of Racial Equality from São Paulo City

Rei do Pitaco, a Brazilian sportstech leader in sports entertainment, was one of the companies selected to receive the Racial Equality Seal at an event held by São Paulo City Hall this week. The program's objectives include recognizing private companies that have at least 20% black employees at different hierarchical levels and functions, including those with outsourced contracts.

“We are very proud to receive the Seal of Racial Equality. At Rei do Pitaco, we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion. One of the initiatives that shows that this mission is important for us is the structuring of the ‘Coletivo do Rei Sobre Pessoa Pretas Organizados’, which offers support and opportunities for black people in our organization,” commented Suzan Carolina Monteiro, coordinator of the Customer Experience area at King of Pitaco and coordinator of CRESPPO.

Sportstech has governance focused on social issues. In addition to internal initiatives, such as the CRESPPO collective, Rei do Pitaco is part of the Global Compact, a UN initiative to engage companies and organizations in the adoption of ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

 The São Paulo City Hall's Racial Equality Seal Program aims to recognize private companies that have at least 20% black employees at different hierarchical levels and functions, including those with outsourced contracts.

Rei do Pitaco is a reference in sports entertainment through the daily fantasy game platform through which users create lineups with athletes and score points according to the statistical performance of these players in real-life matches.

Unlike competitors, Rei do Pitaco users compete for prizes at the end of each round or games. The Sportstech was founded in 2019 with the central purpose of bringing more fun and entertainment to the lives of those who love sport.
