At the Nilton Santos Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro

With support from Esportes da Sorte, MC’s solidarity game reaches 3.5 million views

Last Tuesday (28), at the Nilton Santos Stadium and with the support of Esportes da Sorte, MC's Poze do Rodo and Daniel promoted a charity game to collect food for partner institutions of Central Única das Favelas (CUFA), which serves underprivileged communities in Rio de Janeiro. Called 'Desafio dos MCs Contra a Fome', the event was broadcast live on CazéTV and, at the moment, has already surpassed the mark of 3.4 million views on YouTube.

At the stadium, the public was also highlighted and reached the maximum available capacity, which resulted in a donation of 20 tons of non-perishable food. The confrontation was between a team from Rio de Janeiro, led by Mc Poze, and another from São Paulo, captained by Mc Daniel.

During the match, Mc Ramon opened the scoring and, with a penalty kick, the Rio captain tied the match. Both teams remained equal on the scoreboard until the end of the second half, when the influencer 'Lucaneta' went to the net and, at lights out, guaranteed the victory for São Paulo by a score of 2-1.

The initiative had the support of Esportes da Sorte, a company in the sports betting sector that sponsors 10 Brazilian football teams. The company signed the event and maintained activities during the duel, such as display on the trophy for the star of the match as well as in the main area of the game uniforms.

"Being able to collaborate in holding a charity event of this size is something special for us. It is gratifying to participate in the entertainment for the spectators, at the same time that we fight for an important cause, helping thousands of people. The event with the MC's was a real success," assesses Ícaro Quinteiro, COO of Esportes da Sorte.
