Patricia Souto Rial - Along with showcasing our current range of hardware platforms, cabinets and kiosks, at this year’s G2E we launched the latest addition to our IQON hardware platform family – the new IQON 2. Powered by Intel, the IQON 2 offers more features and benefits, delivering higher power and performance. It is the ideal platform to develop and deliver immersive gaming content and exceptional sports betting experiences on.
Like all of our hardware platforms it comes with our embedded Software Suite solutions, which are now supplemented by our ‘Customer Software services’ tailored to organisations who require an additional level of support through their product development process. In short, we supplement our range of next generation technology with game changing expertise, guidance, and support to help our customers to get their products to market faster.
What differentiates these hardware platforms and your services from what exists in the market today?
Quixant exclusively provides solutions to the gaming and sports betting industries. This means that everything we do is geared towards the sector, from having a team of industry experts, to heavily investing in sector specific R&D, which enables us to provide the ultimate tailored solutions and customer support.

Our Software Suite solutions, embedded on our platforms as standard give us customers ready to deploy solutions that allow our customers to focus on delivering the ultimate customer experience, expediating the time it takes to get their products to market.
The Quixant customer journey doesn’t just finish when orders are received. We work in partnership with our customers to enhance their hardware and software and provide expert support throughout their journey, including operations, post-sales and technical support.
Providing supply chain expertise and management has proven to be a very important element we offer our customers, especially in recent years. We have a specialised in-house procurement team with the know-how and solutions to ensure customers get the products they need, with attractive commercial offerings.
Were visitors to Quixant’s stand at G2E receptive to Quixant’s enhanced offering and recognize the competitive advantages?
We were delighted to see the excitement of those that visited our stand. It was great to meet with everyone at the event and share our latest innovations as well as showcase our well-established offerings.
The new IQON 2 received lots of attention, and many had expressed interest in transitioning over to the new Intel based option over time.
The extra value we provide as trusted partners and our commitment to the industry was also very well recognized. We always ensure we make our customer journey as smooth as possible, from our multi lingual team effectively communicating with our audience, providing the tailored solutions the market requires, whilst offering competitive pricing, and providing covering operational clarity, whilst ensuring favorable lead times.
What specific markets are the new hardware platforms for?
The new IQON 2 meets the requirements of all major global jurisdictions, including GLI-11, and provides new opportunities in the VLT, Slots and Sports betting markets. Our customers operate in regulated and unregulated markets across the globe and the new IQON 2, which is powered by Intel has the ability to open new opportunities to our customers, providing powerful solutions in their current markets, and enabling them enter new markets with tailored solutions.
We noticed you had a LatAm team at G2E. Is this a key area of focus for you in 2024? What can the LatAm markets expect to see from you next year?
The LatAm market is extremely important for Quixant and there are very exciting opportunities and new projects within this region that certainly cannot be overlooked.
We already have a strong presence across the key LatAm countries, with a number of new and existing projects, and many more in the pipeline. Latin America is a very competitive region with many unique complexities. Our multi lingual team, speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese have a deep understanding of the LatAm gaming and sports betting markets, their requirements and what needs to be done to successfully operate in these markets.
Our products are fully developed solutions, designed with the LatAm market requirements in mind, ensuring security and compliance – particularly for countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic - and not forgetting Brazil with the progression of legalizing sports betting.
Brazil is in the process of regulating sports betting. Are you paying attention to this new market? Do you have specific plans for the country?
Quixant is closely following the activity around the legalization of sport betting regulations in Brazil. There are opportunities that cannot be ignored and Quixant as a business, is doing its due diligence to ensure that we are relevant and able to support development in this region.
Our investment plans and strategic resource allocation is focused, and we are exploring local partnerships to most effectively support the market. So, for now all I can say is watch this space!
