“Air Dice opened 20 new markets in 2023 and there are big objectives for Brazil next year”

GMB's traditional exclusive Balance 2023/Goals 2024 series, with the most important executives in the sector locally and internationally, continues with Rocio Moitino, LatAm sales director at Air Dice, an important games provider with a growing portfolio. She states that the company has expanded in 20 new markets and that it has great goals for 2024 throughout the region and especially in Brazil, where the firm has appointed a local country manager.

GMB - What is your assessment of Air Dice's performance and growth in 2023 in general? Was it as expected or did it exceed your expectations?

Firstly, I would like to thank GMB for the interview once again. You, certainly, were also part of such an important year for Air Dice, both in our growth, which, yes, exceeded my expectations in terms of the gradual and constant expansion that we managed to obtain in the LatAm market, positioning our games, now known by many operators and players. This year we have already opened operations in 20 new markets and had a growth of more than 500% in new brands. In addition, we tripled our games portfolio.

What is your assessment of Air Dice's results in the Brazilian market in 2023?
We had very good growth, making our games easily enter the Brazilian market and generating a lot of interest among operators, with whom we created a relationship of trust. We believe that this year, 2023, was the first step towards us being much better positioned in Brazil in 2024.

Could you list the main achievements or objectives achieved?
We achieved several objectives as a new brand that entered Latin America this year. Our big goal was to make our portfolio known, with games that we were sure would make a big difference with other game providers. We had good acceptance and positive feedback from players. I also had the opportunity to participate as a judge in the awards promoted by CGS Florianópolis as director of Air Dice. I started the expansion work in the LatAm market as director and, in less than a year, we are already putting together a team, with our first account manager, Fernanda Teixeira, in Brazil.

In your sector, what themes or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2024? What will be the future trends?
I think that in the sector we have made many advances, especially with regard to the use of artificial intelligence. I believe it will help in several areas, from game development to the innovations and improvements of new platforms to come.

What is your general opinion about the regulation of the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil?
I believe we are all expecting the same, as, without a doubt, the regulation will bring more security to bettors with the new rules and regulations for financial transactions.

What are Air Dice's main goals and objectives for 2024 in the Brazilian market? And on a global level?
Our goals for this coming year are many, but mainly to continue with the work that aims to increase our growth, not only in Brazil, but also throughout Latin America. With this, we intend to increase our team to be able to provide excellent support and establish a relationship of trust with all those who choose to purchase our products. We will be present at the most important industry fairs and events in Latin America to present our launches and the highlights we already have in our portfolio.
