The proposal was approved in the form of the substitute presented by the rapporteur, deputy Fred Linhares (Republicanos-DF), to Bill 3915/23, by deputy Ricardo Ayres (Republicanos-TO), and three annexes. Ayres states that the objective is to prohibit “irresponsible disclosure of betting companies by influencers.”
The rapporteur considered the measure to be “extremely relevant” due to “the significant impact that such public figures have on their followers, influencing behavior and decisions.”
The proposal will now be analyzed in the Finance and Taxation, Constitution and Justice and Citizenship (CCJ) committees and in the Chamber Plenary.
