Accused of promoting the “jogo do aviãozinho” (aviator) and others, Blaze, whose ambassadors include influencers such as actress Mel Maia, former BBB Viih Tube, YouTuber Jon Vlogs, former Panicat Juju Salimeni, and former Fazenda participant Rico Melquíades, among others, released an official statement to defend itself.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM BLAZE
"We are addressing the report aired on the ‘Fantástico’ program on December 17, 2023. BLAZE is an online betting platform managed by PROLIFIC TRADE N.V., licensed in Curaçao and operating in accordance with local regulations. We have consistently maintained high professionalism and transparency, establishing ourselves as a benchmark in the market. The report presented inconsistent versions. In reality, regarding the narrative presented, there has already been a request for the dismissal by the Public Prosecutor concerning the alleged offenses of fraud and crimes against economic order. Similarly, the website blockade was revoked by the Judge as it was deemed untenable. In turn, the Federal Police have stated that engaging in online betting abroad does not constitute a criminal offense. Regarding the complaints raised, we have received many unfounded complaints from customers unable to make withdrawals, often related to the violation of our Terms of Use, such as the abuse of bonus rules and the creation of multiple accounts (which is standard, as in the cases mentioned in the report). We always resolve legitimate complaints through our humanized customer service team, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
Finally, we are monitoring the bill that regulates betting houses in Brazil, and we support responsible and comprehensive regulation, as we have always operated in accordance with Brazilian laws. In this way, we appreciate the support of our customers for the repeated trust they have always had in our operations, and it will continue to be so.
Sincerely,
PROLIFIC TRADE N.V.
