Since last Sunday (17), all bets on Mega-Sena compete for the special draw, which will be held on December 31st, in an open TV studio and broadcast by several channels from 8pm.
Mega da Virada bets can be placed until 5pm on the day of the draw at more than 13,000 CAIXA lottery outlets spread across Brazil, on the Loterias CAIXA portal and on the Loterias CAIXA app, available free of charge for IOS and Android users.
CAIXA customers can also place bets via CAIXA Internet Banking. The value of a simple Mega bet, with six numbers, is R$5 (US$1).
Just like other special contests of Loterias CAIXA, Mega da Virada does not accumulate. In other words, if there are no winners in the main bracket, with 6 numbers correct, the prize will be divided between the winners in the 2nd bracket (with 5 numbers correct) and so on, according to the rules of the modality.
Since its first edition, in 2009, Mega da Virada has awarded 116 bets that tried their luck and matched the six millionaire numbers.
