GMB - What is your assessment of nanocosmos' performance and growth in 2023 in general? Was it as expected or did it exceed your expectations?

In 2023, our company experienced robust performance, further consolidating our presence in the global iGaming market, with emphasis on the live casino, sports betting and bingo sectors. The landscape of applications and games that demand low-latency live streaming has continued to evolve, providing significant opportunities for expansion.

As a result of our innovative and pioneering approach to the field of real-time streaming for iGaming, along with our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, we continue to respond to dynamic market demands and strengthen our position as one of the leading gaming streaming providers and online betting.

We are excited about the opportunities that 2023 has in store for us and remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering a real-time streaming experience that is easy to use for operators, while also delivering incredible experiences for players and bettors. We are dedicated to constantly improving our platform, ensuring operational simplicity for our partners, while elevating the quality of interactions for end users.

What is your assessment of nanocosmos’ performance and growth in the Brazilian market in 2023?
We positively evaluate our company's performance and growth in the Brazilian market in 2023. Even with regulations still pending, this year marked our strategic preparation by adapting nanoStream Cloud, our real-time streaming platform, to meet the specificities of this market. Recognizing the high consumption of content in Brazil, we strengthened our presence by adding new servers dedicated to the region in our Content Delivery Network (CDN). Together with our Adaptive Player (Adaptive Bitrate Playback), we can provide a more agile and efficient experience for different internet connections.

Furthermore, we invested in personalizing the experience with native support in Portuguese and launched a new service integrated into the platform, focused on protecting content and combating piracy. Our goal is to offer the Brazilian market the same standard of excellence that we provide to our global customers: a real-time, intuitive and robust streaming platform. We want our partners to focus on their business, easily integrating streaming into their products and effectively engaging their audiences.

 



Could you list the main achievements or objectives achieved?
This year, we celebrate our 25th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in our journey as a video and audio technology provider. The vast experience we have accumulated over these years, combined with our continuous development in the iGaming sector, is what strengthens the trust placed by our customers.

We had the joy and honor of receiving two prestigious awards in recognition of our commitment. The ICE Landmark Awards, a crucial recognition in the iGaming industry, highlighted the importance of our streaming services, while the BaM Award, an important award in the video and broadcasting technology industry, recognized the innovation of our streaming platform for interactive applications in real time.

In 2023, we introduce the latest version of nanoStream Cloud, further enhancing the low-latency streaming experience. We introduced new services to improve usability and quality, with emphasis on the analytics tool that now includes a robust alert system to monitor streaming health. This gives our customers detailed insights into their audience and video experience, empowering them to make adjustments to further improve their service.

In your sector, what themes or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2024? What will be the future trends?
I believe that gaming and betting applications through video streaming will continue to develop, opening up broad opportunities for operators. It is clear that data analysis (analytics) will remain a crucial point in the video area, contributing to the continuous improvement of the audience experience.

We see a growing global trend in sports betting, particularly microbetting, which involves betting on specific moments in the game, such as who will score the next goal. This betting format democratizes the process, providing more accessible opportunities and increasing public engagement.

Furthermore, new technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality are emerging as major drivers of innovation in applications. The combination of these technologies with real-time streaming promises to bring many new features in 2024, further transforming the experience in the online gaming and betting sector. We are optimistic about the opportunities that these trends offer for the constant evolution of the market.

What is your general opinion about the regulation of the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil?
We have many global clients interested in expanding their operations to Brazil, and we believe that, with regulation, more native operators should emerge. So we are excited and eagerly awaiting developments in the coming months.

What are nanocosmos' main goals/objectives for 2024 in the Brazilian market? And on a global level?
Our main goals for 2024, both in the Brazilian and global markets, are centered on maintaining our commitment to the customer. This involves meeting the constantly evolving demands of the iGaming sector and continuing to improve our real-time streaming platform, making it complete and easy to use.
