According to Gelfi, the Chamber of Deputies has closed a long-standing chapter that seemed endless and approved the report of Deputy Adolfo Viana (PSDB-BA) that regulates sports betting and online gambling in Brazil, encapsulated in a beautiful document.
For him, "the project and this victory are a watershed moment, as we are talking about promoting a new industry in Brazil. Investments in innovation, technology, and the development of new workforce, associated with vein development and control of externalities, will follow."
"The text includes sports betting and casinos. Balanced taxation and other definitions are expected to enhance the formalization of a thriving market, promoting investments, jobs, and revenue," Gelfi anticipates.
