GMB – What are the news from Sportingtech at ICE London?
Jhuana Lamas – As everyone can see, we have a new look. For this year we are coming with a very strong positioning with the new brand. Sportingtech has been in the market for over 15 years and now the time has come to refresh our entire brand.
In addition to the brand, there is the business. How are they doing, especially in Latin America and Brazil?
Without a doubt, we are focusing more and more on the LatAm and Brazilian markets. Our customers are growing a lot – thankfully. We have local partners, which is one of our focuses, and expand throughout Latin America.
Having local partners is key to success!
Undoubtedly. It is the local partners that further leverage our operations and our operators.
And is the Quantum platform, a key development, well established in the region?
Of course. Every day there is something new and we are trying to meet everything our customers need and always evolving. We also have the iFrame, which will allow us to further segment and offer the platform to other types of partners. We will focus on that market as well.
By the way, the issue of partnership is very important. Today, no one survives in this market if they don't have good partners!
Undoubtedly. It is more important than anything that we have good partners, in addition to a good relationship with our customers. It is what makes the business work.
We know that Sportingtech has closely followed the development of regulations in Brazil. How do you see this and how are you preparing to enter the Brazilian market in earnest?
I believe that we have entered the Brazilian market for real at this point. We already have a brand very well positioned in Brazil and without a doubt the regulation is about to arrive. We are working full-time to make this happen and for our customers to keep their operations running.
In addition to the rebranding, what are the other news from Sportingtech in 2023?
The iframe, which I already mentioned, which will allow us to partner with other platforms. And always refresh, learn and improve.
And wait for the regulation in Brazil!
That's right. We eagerly await regulation.
