bet365 releases new PGA Tour markets ahead of Netflix series

To mark the launch of Netflix docu-series 'Full-Swing', and to celebrate the operator partnership with the PGA Tour, bet365 have released a number of markets for the 2023 golf season. The upcoming series follows more than a dozen players on and off the course throughout the 2022 PGA Tour season, chronicling their personal and professional lives.

As Official Betting Partners of the PGA Tour in the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada, bet365 were given first sight of the whole series.

“Full Swing” follows more than a dozen players on and off the course throughout the 2022 PGA Tour season, chronicling their personal and professional lives, as well as their relationships within and outside of golf.

The series opens with an insight into the friendship between Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, and ends with the spectacular Tour Championship victory for Rory McIlroy.

The series also dives into the controversial breakaway LIV golf tour and Ian Poulter's personal story is sure to be of interest to his European fans.

In episode three of “Full Swing”, Money or Legacy, it is possible to see Poulter's moral dilemma play out. On one side, he would be able to spend more time with his family, as well as the huge financial incentive for a player whose financial returns from golf are diminishing; the other side, however, is how unnecessary it is for a man like Poulter to join LIV considering who is financing the tour.

Aside from the regular season, the documentary also has access to the four majors, which were won by Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Smith.

To mark the launch, and to celebrate our partnership with the PGA Tour, bet365 have a number of markets live for the 2023 season.

We have to wait until April for the Masters, but which player will be celebrating at Augusta in the season’s Major opener. Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy needs the famous green jacket to complete a career grand slam, can he do it in 2023?” the bookmakers says.
