Three Ibero-American lottery executives attended the marketing seminar “Lotteries in turbulent times: opportunities in time of crisis”, organized by the World Lottery Association (WLA) and European Lotteries (EL).
The executive manager of lottery products at CEF, Daniel Resende Scalia, was in London, along with Rosa María Muñoz Moreno, manager of regulation and compliance at the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil of the National Lottery of Ecuador, and Santiago Matías Schumk, commercial advisor to the management of the IAFAS (Loteria de Entre Ríos). The three executives represented Cibelae – Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Gambling on the occasion.
The seminar aimed to discuss how lotteries can adapt their marketing strategies and find new business opportunities in times of difficulties. The appointment of professionals by Cibelae demonstrates the entity's commitment to the development of continuous improvement in the lottery industry within the scope of the association.
During the seminar, panels on lotteries and case studies were presented on the constant search for innovation in the lottery market, in addition to the modernization of the sector, with more and more countries presenting innovations in the segment, both in terms of new modalities and the growth of the online channel.
