GMB - How are EstrelaBet's businesses and the company's partnerships going, since we see more and more clubs stamping its brand on their jerseys every day?
Fellipe Fraga - Support for Brazilian football and sports in general is part of EstrelaBet's DNA. This year, it has been very gratifying because we have managed to place our brand in clubs in different historical and current situations, both in very traditional teams such as América-MG and Internacional, in Serie A, and five other clubs in Serie B; in the first two divisions of Brazilian football we have seven partners. In addition, we are very strong regionally, as in the Northeast, where we are working intensely in Alagoas, with the CRB as a great partner, in addition to other important clubs in that state championship. We also have agreements on tournaments in Acre and the Federal District. It's been a lot of fun watching this growth and the reaction of the fans. When EstrelaBet appears on the jersey, the comments are always very positive and for them a reason to be proud of.
As for the other businesses in the new function, it has been incredible, as we are managing to create interesting agreements with many providers and creating a closer relationship with big brands and reinforcing the quality of the products that EstrelaBet offers.
And we recently released Estelar, our proprietary crash game. Crash games in general have been a success and we had the audacity to launch our own game, which is the great news of EstrelaBet. That's why I invite everyone to enter the EstrelaBet website to meet and have fun with Estelar.
Was it an in-house development or did you partner with a game developer?
It was a joint development, with participation from both sides. It was followed in detail by our team from the beginning and for that reason I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our collaborators who worked on this project. It was a daring and unprecedented launch in Brazil. There are many operators with in-house games on their own site or in partnership with major global providers, but in our case we develop our own game that is available alongside other crash games on our site. It's very different and it's been a success. It's the 'little star' rising more and more.
What about EstrelaBet's proposal to expand into the LatAm market, how is it?
We are still analyzing the possibilities and mapping the opportunities, but that will happen later this year. It is something that has to be done with great care and attention, as entering Latin America is important to be very careful and understand each audience. We are working on it.
In the meantime, waiting for regulation in Brazil?
We follow the dream of regulation. The fight goes on. Despite the presidential exchange, we don't know why it didn't happen and we are left with the previous president's promise. He ignored the fact and must have had his motivations. But the hope is that Lula government will look at our industry as an opportunity for job growth, allowing sports betting and iGaming companies to be created as a whole. This will generate new businesses and jobs and develop different regions of Brazil. It is a very big opportunity and we count on the federal government to be on the side of our industry, allowing this growth so that we have a safe industry and protecting the user from any malicious actors that may arise. May we have honest regulation with operators and suppliers in general, but especially with Brazilians, who found sports betting entertainment and fun. We heard people on the streets commenting on the games and the bet on their favorite team. May this entertainment be safe. EstrelaBet always raises this flag.
Have you come to ICE London for business or just to visit one of the countries that is one of the birthplaces of sports betting?
London is always a spectacle. We came to seek new business opportunities. The agenda was quite full, but always with a space for GMB. There were many productive conversations at different levels to make EstrelaBet even better for our client. This year's fair contributed a lot to that.
