Another edition of the EGR Power Latam Summit, which has GMB as a strategic media partner, is taking place later this month in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the meeting, in addition to other topics of interest to the region, Brazil will be one of the highlights, with panels that will discuss the directions of the regulation of sports betting and the legalization of other gaming verticals in the country.
With a very complete content agenda and an excellent opportunity for networking, EGR Power Latam will approach Brazil soon after the opening of the meeting, with the panel "Progress and politics in Brazil: the year that begins for the 'sleeping giant'". The debate is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. (Brazilian time).
In it, the following panelists will talk about the current moment of the country:
*Thomas Carvalhaes - Executive Director, VaiDeBob (moderator)
*Neil Montgomery - Founder and Partner, Montgomery & Associados
*Witoldo Hendrich Jr. - Founder and Partner, Hendrich Advogados
Thomas Carvalhaes points out that EGR is one of the most important events for the discussion about everything that happens in the area of gaming in Latin America. "I participate every year of the meeting, because it is quite exclusive and where there are numerous decisions related to the areas of gaming and betting. Be sure to participate," invites VaideBob's CEO.
The panelists will discuss and bring to the participants the update on the regulation of sports betting in Brazil, already approved in law and awaiting regulation, as well as the directions for the legalization of other gaming verticals in the country.
"We are going to put the main decision makers of everything that happens in the gaming area in Latin America in the same environment, so being present means being aware of the moment the sector is going through in the region and, at the same time, following closely the situation of the activity in Brazil," comments Witoldo Hendrich Jr.
Faced with a government that has just taken over, executives will address the possibilities that Brazil has ahead to change once and for all the current situation of a market still gray but that can leave this zone of endless discussions. They will analyze the challenges for international operators and suppliers who want to enter this vast and lucrative market.
From a legal point of view, Neil Montgomery points out: "I have a great affection for EGR Power, because 20 years ago I made my first presentation on the Brazilian market. In this edition, we are going to share with market experts the current stage of sports betting regulation and the legalization of gaming in Brazil. Come with me," Montgomery says.
On the same day (at 3:20 pm), Fellipe Fraga, EstrelaBet's business director, will participate in an interesting panel with reflections on the challenges and success of sports betting during the Qatar World Cup.
"To talk about the challenges that have arisen during the Qatar World Cup is an honor, especially at a time when sports betting regulation is getting closer. We’ll talk about regulation and the challenges of bookmakers to offer the best in regulated markets, so I invite everyone to be with us," says Fellipe Fraga.
