Grêmio is about to announce a new commercial partnership with the sports betting house Esportes da Sorte, which will start to stamp its brand on the club's jersey from the next few months.
With a contract valid for three seasons, the new partnership should invest the amount of R$ 25 million (US$ 4.8m) per year, totaling R$ 75 million (US$ 14.4m).
Esportes da Sorte will disburse another R$ 4 million (US$ 765,000) for the termination of current sponsor, which has a few days to cover the competitor's offer. mrjack.bet pays R$ 5 million (US$ 955,000) per year to the club.
The agreement with Esportes da Sorte is well under way and the brand should be stamped between the Grêmio crest and the logo of sporting goods supplier Umbro.
The sportsbook Esportes da Sorte is yet another brand betting on the visibility of Grêmio, which has been gaining prominence after its return to the first division of the Brazilian Championship and with the signing of Luis Suárez.
It is not yet known when the partnership will be made official, but the expectation is that it will happen soon.
