GMB – You are at the most important fair in the world of games. What are the objectives and importance for Eigthroom to be present here?
Rodrigo Alves – It is the third opportunity for Eightroom to exhibit at this fair and it is a very unique universe for us. Eightroom, with its 18 years of experience in the Latin and Brazilian market, has been consolidating itself with its products and services and we saw the need to be here and show our solutions aimed at the end user. We always think of them, and for this reason, we look for quality operators who are interested in doing serious and long-term work to achieve the expected results for everyone.
A company focused on affiliation and the end user, as you said. What news are you bringing to accomplish this Eightroom mission?
We have established ourselves over the years as an affiliate marketing company. We have our own products, strategies and correct ways to bring value players to operators. Now, we are launching a payment gateway so that we can offer operators that are already in Brazil or that want to access the country, an agile pay-in/pay-out. That is, make the receipt and payment for the players. It is a product that comes with a lot of competitiveness for the Brazilian market. We are having great success offering this solution to our old and new partners.
After all, a suitable payment method is one of the backbones of iGaming!
Exactly. We have the entire certification and licensing part so that the operation takes place correctly, in addition to a KYB with the operators so that we understand the origin and that everything is done correctly. Thus, we deliver to operators a solution with a single fee, without additional ones such as IOF, bank fees, spread, etc. Everything is included and brings more predictability to the operator, working with PIX for both payments and receipts. These are attributes that we were able to add to this payment solution. As you said, it's the backbone and thinking about the user experience, things have to work quickly, dynamically and reliably.
At the stand we see a slogan in English and a Brazilian flag highlighted. I would like you to talk a little about Eightroom's presence in the Brazilian market and the expectations regarding the regulation of betting and the legalization of other verticals in the country.
The flags of Brazil and other LatAm countries draw the attention of the public that has been looking for us to find out what we do and how long we have been operating in the market. We also attract many Brazilians interested in our activity there. As for the regulation itself, it has been part of our daily lives for over four years. We already have a sense of everything that has been talked about so far and we look forward to how everything will unfold. The very grandeur of ICE shows us that it is a necessity and a reality. Let's hope it's done right and thought of the end user, the player, who is the main part of this ecosystem. As for casinos and other games, we have a project approved by the Chamber that could bring these verticals to legality, which seems obvious and necessary to us. If that happens, it will open a new front to be explored by affiliates, payment method companies and operators who understand that the Brazilian market can be very prosperous.
And having already reached the age of majority, with more than 18 years of experience, is Eightroom ready for the Brazilian market?
It is ready for the Brazilian, Latin American and who knows global market. For this year we have evolved and robust planning so that we can expand our area of operation, consolidating ourselves in the market with the solution in which we bring reliable operators to quality players. ICE is an opportunity to show serious work started in Brazil a long time ago and that is gaining worldwide thanks to the seriousness with which we look at this market and that the operators and all those who are part of it recognize.
