GMB – What's new about Kambi at ICE London?
Juan Barrachina – We are presenting a new strategy that will make operations much easier for our customers in Latin America, which is modularization and flexibility of the service and product delivered by Kambi to partner operators. This is something quite new and will meet the goals of improving customer actions.
Is this an important change for Kambi in view of the growth of the sector in Latin America?
JB - Undoubtedly, as this opens up the spectrum for conquering potential new customers, not only in Latin America but all over the world.
What's new in terms of products?
JB - We present novelties in the areas of quick and instant betting, in tennis and football, very well received recently, in the World Cup in Qatar, which comes with a lot of strength for this year.
How are business and the approach with local partners in Latin America going?
Ignacio Jiménez Iglesias – We are exceeding all expectations in the region, especially in Colombia, which continues to be the main one, in addition to Peru, Ecuador, Argentina and our beloved Brazil, where we expect great success alongside Rei do Pitaco.
Speaking of Brazil, what is Kambi's strategy to succeed in this market?
IJI - Keep doing what we do best, which is to focus on the product and seek to be the number 1 provider and deliver the greatest possible flexibility to operators. And as Juan said, with the new modularization strategy we will maximize the number of customers in the region.
And the location is also key!
IJI - Of course. We already have that and the new football algorithm allows us to be ahead, especially with our BetBuilder. Football, as a passion across the region, can count on this and we feel like the top solution provider in this sport.
Is business as a whole doing well in Latin America?
JB - Yes, very well and with great success in Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Argentina. And with great expectations in Brazil with the partnership signed with Rei do Pitaco. We are also keeping an eye on the direction of regulation in Peru and Chile
And from Brazil, of course?
For sure. We expect news soon. We will be at the BiS SiGMA in São Paulo, in June, as there are many discussions about regulation and market opening and it will be a stage for these discussions.
To also look for new local partners, right?
IJI -Exactly. We are always on the lookout for cutting-edge operators just as we are at Kambi, as the #1 operator solutions provider in the region.
