“Neko Games is consolidated in the Ibero-American market, waiting for regulation in Brazil”

Sebastian Perrier, co-founder and CEO of Neko Games, a well-known global provider of games – in particular video bingos –, talked in ICE London with GMB about the event returning to pre-pandemic levels and the success the company achieved in Ibero-America. “One of our games is number 1 in Spain and now we are looking at Brazil, where we are waiting for the regulation to come soon to expand in the country.”

GMB – Thank you very much for visiting the GMB booth at ICE London. How do you evaluate this year's edition of the fair?
Sebastian Perrier
– Thank you for your continued support from GMB and having us at your booth. The fair was excellent. ICE London is back to the fair we were used to seeing before the covid-19 pandemic. There are many people and everyone interested in doing business, with an eye on Latin America and on everything we are doing in the region. So we're glad to be at the event and that the greatness of ICE is back.

Did you have good contacts during the fair?
Yes. Contacts are top-notch in all companies, in addition to the important media support for the global gaming industry, which also contributes to business development and companies to make decisions. It is a show suitable for investors, providers and operators.

How is business going for Neko?
We are doing very well in the entire Ibero-American market. Our top game is currently number 1 in Spain. It's Don Bingote, which tells the story of Don Quixote de la Mancha. There are also other table games that have also attracted attention. Today, within the global games ecosystem, which distributes our content, we are the most important game provider for them in all Ibero-American countries. We are very happy with this and with great expectations of growth especially with new games that we will launch, hoping that we continue on the same successful path.

What are Neko Games' plans for 2023?
Our plans are to be attentive to the direction of regulation in Brazil. For all the conversations we've had, it's going to happen in the short term and we look forward to it. In the case of sports betting, it is already a reality in Brazil and we can see a lot of advertising and numerous operators working. So, we want to be part of this regulatory process and move forward in this very important market.

Is Neko ready for it?
Totally. Our games are already in Brazilian Portuguese and they will be very successful in Brazil because they are bingo games, something that is already successful and well known. Next, we want the public to know about our slots as well. I believe that Brazil will be a key market for Neko Games.
