“Caleta’s internationalization is unquestionable, we are close to get the MGA license”

Brazilian Caleta Gaming participated for the first time as an exhibitor at ICE London, where it attracted the market's attention for the quality and variety of its games. Talking to GMB, co-founder and CEO Fabíola Jaeger commented that after ten years visiting the fair, it debuts with a stand. “We are proud to showcase our technology and products to the entire world. We are on the verge of winning the MGA license, which will open up new opportunities for us.”

GMB – Caleta's internationalization is increasingly being presented to the market. What does this mean for a company that was born in Brazil, a country that does not have legalized gambling, and stands out in the global market?
Fabiola Jaeger –
For us it is a great achievement. We have been participating in ICE for ten years, but this is the first time that we have presented ourselves as exhibitors. It is an honor to be here to show our technology and our products to the whole world, after all this is the biggest fair in the gaming industry.

In addition to being happening in the cradle where sports betting was born. It is great to be here!
For sure. It is very important to receive our customers, as we have partners all over the world and it is comfortable to have them here with us and exchange ideas, in addition to attracting new customers. There are many people interested in our products. We have over 100 games, and attracting new customers is part of our mission at ICE.

Are you presenting new games at the fair?
Specifically at the fair, no. We have some releases that we did a little over a month ago, as well as some released for the World Cup. We also have Rainbow Keno and Keno Goal, which we created to congratulate the Argentines for winning the FIFA World Cup, with players wearing Argentina's shirt.

In terms of news from the point of view of strategic partnerships, how is this new agreement project going?
For sure. We are on the verge of winning our Malta B2B license. With this MGA license we will be able to explore new markets. We also closed an agreement with GLI, one of the most renowned laboratories in the world. We will certify at least 20 games this year, in addition to another 16 that have already been certified. With this expanded certification of our portfolio, we will be able to explore several other markets.

What remains is to explore the Brazilian market, which is not yet regulated. How do you evaluate the moment that the possibility of regulation in Brazil is going through?
It's complicated to talk about it, because there's not much news. We stayed the same over the years. But anyway, in Caleta we are preparing. Our technology is fully prepared and this is one of the reasons why we are increasingly seeking our license and certification for our games and platform. We hope that this regulation comes out as soon as possible so that we, as a Brazilian company, can operate in the Brazilian market in a regulated manner.
