“Control+F5 had good contacts at ICE and is preparing to support new customers in Brazil”

Visiting ICE London for Control+F5 Gaming was a time to get closer to clients to outline new strategies and also to win over new business partners. Natalia Nogues, co-founder and CEO, told GMB that the event served to reinforce agreements, prepare actions for when betting regulation arrives and to seek other players interested in the Brazilian market.

GMB – How has Control+F5 Gaming's visit to ICE London been?
Natalia Nogues –
For us, since last year ICE is a very important event. It is where we have the opportunity to find companies from various places interested in entering Brazil and investing in this market. There are still those who are wanting to grow even more. So for us it is very important to be at the ICE mainly to defend Brazil and show our work and our intelligence and what we are able to offer them.

Lots of good contacts?
Yes, many contacts. We had the opportunity to review clients to talk, plan and outline new strategies, in addition to prospecting new clients. We had many excellent contacts.

We always see Control presenting new clients at GMB. Is that a constant for the firm?
Exactly. It's a constant and Control+F5 has been growing a lot in the last two years in the 360 hub area, where we offer a range of options, not only in marketing, where we are best known. We are offering solutions ranging from customer service, consulting, recruitment and selection, training for professionals and licenses, such as those in Malta and Curaçao. We are opening the range for other options to our customers.

You mentioned two important points, one of them is training professionals, who need to specialize, and regulation and how the processes are in the main global regulatory jurisdictions.
We are very concerned about the number of professionals we have in Brazil who still don't know much about gaming. Thus, we are concerned with conveying to our prospects and clients that we offer team training and passing on knowledge to these people so that companies can find these professionals. As for regulation, we closely monitor what happens in the main regulatory bodies and transmit this to keep our customers updated. So they can focus on the operation itself.

Brazil has long discussed regulation. Do you believe this will happen quickly?
I believe that with the new government there is still a transition process, but I believe that this will happen soon. And I think that along with the regulation, the legalization of other gambling verticals could also happen.

What are Control+F5's plans when that happens?
We will continue to grow and support our customers in the regulatory transition process. We want to offer what we are already offering, as well as other solutions, for license search, merger support, etc. Control is structuring itself with partners to offer our market knowledge to all those who seek to adapt to Brazil.
