The legal scenario of sports betting in Brazil and the fight against the manipulation of results have just gained another stage of discussion. The Sports Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Goiás Section, will hold an ordinary meeting on February 6, from 7 pm, to discuss the topics.
Udo Seckelmann, lawyer and head of the gaming department of the law firm Bichara e Motta, as well as a member of the National Academy of Sports Law – Youth Commission, OAB, and vice-president of the Sports and Entertainment Commission of OAB-RJ, with extensive experience in the subject, will be one of the speakers. Author of several articles on the subject and speaker at national and international events, he will add his knowledge about the current stage of regulation, as well as issues related to the manipulation of results.
Ricardo Bessa, lawyer and specialist in sports law, football manager at Goiano Institute of Sports Law and assistant secretary of the Sports Law Commission of OAB/GO, will contribute to bringing sports betting and match-fixing issues closer to the legal community of Goiás.
