Intralot do Brasil's senior management will visit ICE London to follow new trends in the areas of sports betting and lotteries. Led by CEO Sérgio Alvarenga, the company will also be represented by COO Gustavo Mantovanni and head of technology, Guilherme Faria.
Operator of the Loteria Mineira in Brazil, Intralot intends, with the visit, "to broaden the horizons to go beyond and seek innovation are some of the numerous commitments of our company."
According to Sérgio Alvarenga, "the 2023 edition of ICE London is a great opportunity for the gaming and betting industry, which is experiencing a growing expansion in Brazil and worldwide. The expectation is that the event will bring together and attract investors from various countries and exceed the number of audiences. For this reason, it is important to monitor the evolution of the sector and expand the relationship with large global players."
Intralot do Brasil arrived in the country in 2008 with the mission of operating licensed lotteries. Two years later, in March 2010, signed a contract with the Minas Gerais State Lottery and, months later, launched its first product Keno Minas, which to this day is the company's most successful one in Brazil. It has distributed almost R$ 1 billion (US$ 197m) in prizes to the bettors of Minas Gerais.
In addition to Keno Minas, Intralot do Brasil also operates Multiplix, Minas 5, Totolot, Totogol and Speed Race. All games are available at more than 2,500 lottery terminals located at various points of sale throughout the state.
Intralot's operation stands out as an important driving force in the state's economy, responsible for approximately 4,000 jobs generated through the operation at its points of sale, present in 433 municipalities. In the last year, more than R$ 18 million (US$ 3.6m) were distributed in commission to resellers.
