“We are now going to carry out the due analysis and verification regarding the data presented and the possibility of continuing with the material and what would be the next steps,” said the secretary of Strategic Partnerships of the Caxias do Sul City Hall, Maurício Batista da Silva, about the manifestation of private interest for the implementation of the Municipal Lottery Service.
The municipal lottery is considered by the municipality as a possibility of a new source of income to help with the resources necessary for social security, both social security and assistance, and health.
“In view of the significant and frequent increase in the demand for resources for these areas, the lottery can become a mechanism in which the municipality can meet these demands and, from there, not unlink or transfer resources from other portfolios, in order to maintain the operation of the municipality and meet the demands of all sectors,” explains the secretary.
Batista da Silva adds that he will follow up with the evaluation of the request for interest and also evaluate the possibility of working with lottery services at the regional level.
“This way we will join efforts with the other municipalities and, certainly, when we bring a solution, not only for Caxias do Sul, but for everyone, the gain will be greater and obviously the most successful project,” he concluded.
