Bookmakers are listed as one of the prohibited sponsors in the VCT global rulebook, published in 2021.
Other examples of prohibited sponsors are alcohol companies, cryptocurrencies and unregulated financial markets.
The same prohibition applies to League of Legends (LoL) and consequently CBLoL.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that Riot Games has a series of protocols related to match fixing and other impacts on competitive integrity.
