Loterj reaffirms its mission of social commitment in lottery operations

A few days ago, Rio de Janeiro Lottery - Loterj launched an intense campaign to raise society's awareness of issues related to gaming and lotteries. This week, the company highlights its social commitment in the operation of lottery modalities in Rio de Janeiro, with important data on the work carried out in favor of those most in need.

Lotteries in Brazil are focused on meeting the needs of the community and social projects of interest to the population. And Loterj, aware of its important role in serving the public in Rio de Janeiro, has just released another post to clarify its objectives.

Do you know what is at stake when you bet with Loterj?”, asks the company. And it explains: “Loterj's main mission is to invest in the promotion of policies, actions and social projects of interest to the population of the state of Rio de Janeiro.”

Today, at least 70% of the net profit of the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery is invested in education, health, sport and culture projects, aimed mainly at residents of poorer waters and in vulnerable situations.

A mission given is a mission accomplished,” highlights the agency, informing in its campaign that between 2015 and 2022 it invested R$ 67.5 million (US$ x m) in social projects, as determined by the legislation that created Loterj.

Each time you buy a Rio de Prêmios or Raspa Rio ticket, you are doing more than just playing, having fun and having the chance to change your life. You are the one who bets, but all of Rio de Janeiro is awarded, with more equality and social justice.

The campaign aims to inform customers and the population in general about the differentials of lottery bets made through products sold by Lojerj, in order to reinforce the importance of betting on modalities approved in Rio de Janeiro, that consistently contribute to care for those in social vulnerability, people with disabilities and women victims of domestic violence.
