The largest bookmaker in Asia, sponsor of several European leagues and diverse teams worldwide, has extended its sponsorship platform with the world champions.
The global expansion plans of the Argentine Football Association continue to consolidate, not only in obtaining sporting results but also at the commercial and brand level.
Argentine football is today the most attractive sports property for brands on the Asian and global continent. This translates into contracts and sponsorship agreements such as the one that is celebrated with Dafabet for 2023 and 2024, with the great first title ahead of Copa América 2024.
In relation to this agreement, the President of AFA, Claudio Tapia, highlighted: “In recent years, AFA has developed a strong expansion in world markets, but above all in Asia. Thanks to hard teamwork, our association continues to celebrate agreements like the one we celebrate today with Dafabet. I welcome Dafabet to the sponsorship platform of our Selection.”
For his part, Dafabet's Marketing Director, Nikos Diakoumopoulos, stated: “We are very proud to announce the partnership with AFA, which needs no introduction. We look forward to working together to achieve common goals around the world and wish the best of success."
Likewise, Dafabet's Head of Sponsorships, John Cruces, added: “In terms of international football, partnering with Argentina as the reigning world champions couldn't be bigger. As with all of our partners, we wish them the best of luck, especially in the bid for a record 16th Copa América title."
Regarding the commercial importance of the agreement, Leandro Petersen, Commercial and Marketing Director of AFA, added: “Within the segmentation of our sponsorship platform, today we are very happy to announce Dafabet, leader in the Asian region, as the new Regional Sponsor of our Argentine National Teams.
