PokerStars and Red Bull Racing have renewed their global partnership for the 2023 Formula 1 season. The announcement came this Monday (6), the day after the season opener with Red Bull's one-two, with Max Vestappen at the top and Sergio Pérez in second place at the Bahrain GP.
The online poker platform promises to bring more news to motorsport fans through promotions, disputes and content, which can yield experiences in some of the most popular events in the competition.
“After an incredible first year of racing alongside Oracle Red Bull, we are delighted to continue with the team in the 2023 season. We have prepared new rewards, content and epic experiences to mark the next level of this relationship,” commented Rebecca McAdam Willetts, Director of Partnerships, PR and Consumer Engagement at Flutter, the holding company that owns PokerStars.
The PokerStars Red Spade Pass will also be part of the deal, offering PokerStars players the chance to experience the glamor and exclusivity of F1 racing.
In addition to the Red Spade Pass, PokerStars will help fans “embrace the race” with a weekend rewards program, which will offer a number of benefits to platform users such as: there will be a new game at Chicane Cash Drop and Spin & Go Races, Odds Boost on Sports bets and compete for the ranking in the Casino Weekend Races Leaderboard.
The partnership involves exposing the PokerStars brand to the RB19's halo, as well as the interior cockpit, rear wing plate, drivers' racing uniforms and pit crew helmets.
“This partnership has allowed both us and Red Bull Racing to reach audiences that share similar passions and interests and we still firmly believe that the team is the perfect fit for PokerStars.net, sharing our belief that it's not just about what you offer the fans, but of the spirit and the vision behind it,” added Rebecca McAdam Willetts.
