Betano signs master sponsorship of Fluminense female football and project for eSports team

On International Women's Day, celebrated this Wednesday 8th,, Betano announces new sponsorships and actions with the aim of further promoting sport and women's empowerment in the segment. The sportsbook signed an agreement as the master sponsor of Fluminense women's football and a new project in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) by Brazilian eSports organisation Black Dragons.

Betano has just signed a contract to become master sponsor of the Fluminense women's team, providing for exposure of the logo centralized on the uniform, as well as several opportunities for activations with the club, involving Betano fans, players and clients. Currently, the company is also the master sponsor of the ‘tricolor’ men's football team.

The objective of the sports betting house is to further promote women's sports and empowerment in the segment.

In addition, Betano has a new project with the female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) team from the ‘Black Dragons’, embarking together with the players for the Girl Gamer Esporte Festival championship, in Bahrain, next March 14th-18th.

The girls will be proud to represent Brazil in the competition and several actions will be carried out there, such as the production of content about the championship, tournament stages, participating countries, among other topics.

Day-to-day team and tournament broadcasts will be hosted by Nicolle Merhy, CEO of Black Dragons, known in the gaming world as Cherrygumms.

The businesswoman has an outstanding track record, one of the most prominent personalities in eSports and named as the greatest female reference in the sector in Brazil by Forbes. With a partnership signed since 2022, the sports betting house and Black Dragons already have a sponsorship agreement that provides for 'naming rights' Betano, in addition to the logo on the uniforms from the women's CS:GO team.

“It is an honor for Betano, on International Women's Day, to formalize these very relevant actions. One of our main objectives is to promote the sports market and we know that, in this segment, female sports and professionals must increasingly reaffirm their space of equality and importance in sports. We are very happy and proud with these new actions, which add to many others we have already carried out and have been generating value, as well as positive experiences for athletes, the general public and customers,” says Alexandre Fonseca, country manager of Betano in Brazil.

In the last two years that the sports betting house has been present in the Brazilian market, it has already developed several other actions aimed at the female sports category, such as sponsorship of the 2022 and 2023 Women's Football Super Cup, sponsorship of the 'Rainha do Mar' event - which shows female strength in sport and open water swimming-, and the 'Campeãs das Areias' tournament, of female beach volleyball, both in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro.

The brand aims to promote the sector with long-term partnerships in the sports segment, in addition to approaching the general public, current and new customers.

Betano is operated by the Kaizen Gaming group, based in Greece and over ten years in the sports betting market. The company is present in other countries such as Portugal, Germany, Romania, Greece, Cyprus, Chile and Bulgaria.

Designed to offer an excellent online experience, combined with easy access through all devices (desktop, laptop, tablet, cell phone and Android application), Betano allows users to enjoy first-rate products and services, acting with a user-friendly and simple-to-use interface platform.

The online bookmaker also has a presence in online/offline media and seeks to expand its position in the online betting market in Brazil as the best and most reliable sportsbook in the country.

The company is also the sponsor of several football teams in Europe and South America, including traditional clubs such as Benfica, Porto, Sporting (Portugal) and, recently, Universidad do Chile. In Brazil, it is the master sponsor of Clube Atlético Mineiro (MG) and Fluminense (RJ).
