One of the main areas of the company, for example, is led by the risk and compliance director Camila Caresi, who, with more than 18 years of career in a large financial institution, decided to face the challenge of a startup. “It is very rewarding to work at a company that focuses on female empowerment and to be able to count on such an inspired team of women. Founded in 2017, Pay4Fun is the first Payment Institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil that operates in the online entertainment and sports betting sector. Operating with more than 360 integrated websites in the entertainment segment, the company reached R$ 500 million (US$ 97m) in financial transactions in July 2021 and believes in the expansion of the online betting market around the world.
