FAS+Simples discusses sports betting regulation in Brazil and negotiation of rights

The issue has gained relevance in recent weeks with the possible issue of a provisional measure by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, stipulating taxation on these bets, and with the presentation of a bill in the Senate proposing rules for regulating the sector.

In this edition of FAS+Simples, Fernanda Meirelles and Felipe Lázaro will address the dynamics of negotiation and formalization of the acquisition of sports rights for transmission on the various platforms that currently exist and, especially, taking into account what the bill that intends to regulate fixed odds sports betting in Brazil.
