Betano, the global sports betting brand of the Greek group Kaizen Gaming, is becoming more and more “Brazilian”, given its strong presence in Brazil, where it sponsors Atlético Mineiro and Fluminense.
In addition, the company, which already owns the naming rights of the Supercopa do Brasil and Copa do Brasil 2023, has just announced that it has also acquired the name of the second division of the Brazilian Championship, which is now called Série Betano 2023.
The contract between the sports betting house and the competition provides for inserts in LED panels, central and inflatable pre-match carpet, as well as carpets on the lawn during games, brand exposure on the benches, custom replacement plaque and inserts in the backdrop of field interviews.
Betano will also be present in the teams' entry protocol and at the moment of the tournament's awards.
The 2023 Betano Series starts this Friday (14), with a game between Guarani and Avaí, at Brinco de Ouro, in Campinas/SP. The second division of the Brasileirão will be disputed by 20 clubs, in 38 rounds. The four best teams will go up in category to compete in Série A in 2024, according to CBF rules.
In less than a decade, Kaizen Gaming has grown from a start-up in Greece to a global player, currently active in 12 countries across Europe, Latin America and North America. In 2022, the company was also recognized as Operator of the Year at the EGR Awards.
Currently, Kaizen Gaming sponsors, through its brands Betano and Stoiximan, some of the main football teams in Europe and Latin America, including FC Porto, Sporting CP and SL Benfica in Portugal, Oympiacos FC, Panathinaikos FC and PAOK FC in Greece, as well as Atlético Mineiro and Fluminense in Brazil, among others.
Kaizen Gaming was also the first company in the industry to sign a FIFA World Cup contract, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
