From yesterday (5) until next Sunday (9), another edition of Campus Party will take place in Brasilia, the largest festival of technology, entrepreneurship, science and disruptiveness in the world, with more than 70 editions held in 30 countries.
In Brazil, it has been present for more than ten years, having gathered in the last edition, in São Paulo, more than 135 thousand people between the 11th and 15th of November 2022.
On April 7, at 5:20 pm, lawyer Filipe Senna, a partner at the Jantalia office, will give a lecture at the event entitled: “General notions about games and betting: opportunities of a new market”.
A scholar of th-e subject and following closely, in Brasilia, issues related to the regulation of the sector, Filipe Senna will take to a community eager for information on technology and entrepreneurship the possibilities that open up with the regulation of sports betting in Brazil.
The lawyer explains that this year's edition of the Campus Party will focus on discussions on different types of games and the inclusion of sports betting in the grid was very timely. “In this sense, our expectation is to present to this sector of innovation and technology the opportunities and importance of the gaming and betting market in Brazil and how much it can grow.”
It is essential, according to Filipe Senna, to show the importance of sports betting and how companies can contribute to the development of this market in Brazil. “We were invited to make this presentation by the organizers due to our experience in the sector,” he told GMB.
“It will be very important both for the sector and for people who seek national technological development to know a little more about games and betting, since it is an activity with a high power of tax collection, job creation and stimulus to tourism,” he concluded.
The event takes place on the Petrobras Stage – Arena Mané Garrinha, Asa Norte – Brasília.
