The partnership had already been announced along with the company's support for the futsal national team, in December of last year, but now it has gained new contours with the release of the jersey that will be worn by Brazilians in the Dubai Cup, in the United Arab Emirates, in November.
"Beach Soccer is, without a doubt, a sport with Brazilian DNA. It is no wonder that we won so many titles and now, with the reinforcement of this partnership, we will continue firmly towards the conquest of the sixth star," highlighted the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues.
The National Team won nine world titles between 1995 and 2004, in 10 editions of the World Cup, at a time when competitions were not yet organized by FIFA. Since 2005, football's highest governing body has been responsible for the sport, and has held 11 editions of the World Cup, with five Brazilian titles, three from Russia, two from Portugal and one from France.
"This partnership is not a surprise, but it is very good to formalize this support for the Brazilian Beach Soccer Team. Brazil has always been hegemonic in the modality, and this jersey carries a lot of history, with many stars who have already worn it. Being able to have the brand of EstrelaBet next to this shield is a source of pride for us," said the head of sponsorships at EstrelaBet, Rafael Zanette.
Brazil is already qualified for the World Cup, having been champion of the Copa America this year, won undefeated, with 6 wins in 6 games, 55 goals scored and only 16 conceded. In the decision, a "walk" against Argentina, with a 13 to 5.
In addition to the Brazilians, Argentina, Colombia close the South American teams in the competition, which will also include Egypt and Senegal (from Africa), Oman, Japan and Iran (from Asia), the Emirates (host country), and teams that still will rank from Central America (2), Oceania (1) and Europe (4).
