Angelo Alberoni becomes the new country manager of Novibet in Brazil

With 15 years of experience in the Brazilian iGaming market and having worked for several international bookmakers operating in the country, Angelo Alberoni has now joined Novibet as Country Manager in Brazil. The brand is master sponsor of Fortaleza and has Arturo Vidal from Flamengo as ambassador.

Angelo Alberoni has 15 years of experience in the Brazilian iGaming market, working for several international companies operating in the country, and having recently performed the same role at Betsson. He is also a founding member of the Brazilian Sports Betting Association – ABAESP.

The executive has worked at Betsson, Betcris and Betmotion among others. He holds university studies in Business Administration and Sports Entities Management.

At Novibet, his role will be to intelligently position the brand, identifying the best opportunities and offering security and entertainment to Brazilian bettors.

Recently, Novibet stepped on the Brazilian market with more than relevant news. First, it became Fortaleza's master sponsor until 2024, in the biggest contract in the club's history. Although the official figures were not informed, the agreement would be R$ 40 million (US$ 8m) for two seasons.

In addition to display its logo on the noblest space of the jersey, Novibet prints the brand on the sleeve and shorts of the ‘Tricolor de Aço’. The agreement also includes digital deliveries of the brand on ‘Leão's’ social networks, promotion at Arena Castelão in Brazilian Championship games and other exclusive activations.

The sponsorship of Fortaleza was Novibet's first step within its expansion strategy in South America. After the agreement with the club, the company signed a contract with Chilean star Arturo Vidal. In an unprecedented agreement, the Flamengo midfielder is Novibet's first global ambassador.

Alberoni will seek to consolidate the work of the international brand, focusing on the local market and with the objective of reinforcing its presence in Brazil through sponsorships, important ambassadors and other Novibet actions.
