Juliana Querino, new Sales Manager in the region

“My challenge is to bring the same popularity of Endorphina in Europe to Brazil and LatAm”

Brazilian Juliana Querino has just taken over the role of Sales Manager in LatAm and Portugal at Endorphina, a traditional game developer for the iGaming industry. In an exclusive conversation with GMB, she talks about the new experience, her challenges and plans for the region. “The market is very expressive as well as our business possibilities in Brazil,” she assures.

With 17 years of experience in the commercial area, Juliana has worked as an account manager in content aggregators, regulations and licenses. At Endorphina, she will be responsible for the company's expansion in the region.

Carioca living for several years in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, the new Sales Manager for Latin America and Portugal is excited about the possibilities that the region will be able to offer to Endorphina, especially in Brazil, where the local player likes to make quick gains.

“The greater the possibility of the player winning a round, an attractive visual art and the more agile the game, the greater their interest in the brand. And that is exactly what we are offering Brazilian users,” clarifies Juliana.

GMB - You have just taken over Endorphina's Sales Management. What challenges do you see in this role at a company that has been growing a lot in the Latin market?
Juliana Querino -
There are many challenges, but mainly that of passing on our brand's credibility to the Latin market. We are booming, but we are still more popular in Europe. My challenge is to bring that same popularity to LatAm and make the brand grow here at the same rate as it grows in Europe.

By the way, are you going to operate only in Brazil or in all of LatAm?
I will work throughout LatAm and Portugal.

How will you develop your activities ahead of Endorphina?
In addition to the prospecting that is natural to commercial activities, networking, visiting industry events seeking new partnerships and strengthening ties with old partners. In short, the commercial's daily life.

What led Endorphina to look for a Brazilian professional? Is it a demonstration of the company's interest in Brazil?
Yes, the Brazilian market, with imminent regulation, is being increasingly coveted by the iGaming industry. A clear example of this is the visible increase in advertisements for betting sites on television, sponsorship of various companies in our industry in several sports and especially in football. This market is very expressive, as are our business possibilities in Brazil.

What can you add to Endorphina's operations in Brazil based on the work you will develop for the company?
I can guarantee a closer relationship with the client, which will enrich their portfolio with our games, as I know our culture well and what the Brazilian player wants, in addition to my knowledge of the industry and key partners to make it all a reality. Our expansion project here in Brazil and in Latin America is very aggressive.

Is it possible to estimate the number of partners in Brazil that offer Endorphina titles?
It's hard to say a certain number since there are so many sites and partners that we have here. And every day we have more, it's really hard to estimate the number.

How to expand Endorphina's installed base of titles?
The on-site operation in Brazil is new. We are expanding and with the spotlight on the national market and Latin America. We will be present at all industry events this year with an eye on expanding our presence in the region.

Will Endorphina be in BiS SiGMA? What are the company's plans for this exhibition?
Yes, we will be at BiS SiGMA, and I would like to invite everyone to stop by our stand to get to know each other better and understand how we can help each other grow together. We always like to hear what the customer wants to achieve, so we can find out how we can offer our games, promotions strategy and growth. Exhibitions and events are excellent opportunities to make this approach faster and more assertive.

Brazil is going through a lengthy process of regulating sports betting. How do you see this moment in the country?
Very optimistic actually. The regulation is really taking longer than expected, but I remain very optimistic with the imminence of the release. Since the Senate is already analyzing and in the process of voting on the gaming regulatory framework and we already see news about rates and movements in this regard, I really believe that this lengthy betting regulation process will be finalized very soon.

It is said that after the regulation, approved companies will not be able to offer other verticals other than sports betting. As a provider of casino games, what is Endorphina's assessment of this?
Personally, I don't believe it will be like that. Of course we have many sports betting sites, but most of them also offer casino games and I don't think this will change. In fact, I think the demand for casinos will grow even more. It remains to be seen how the adaptation phase will be after the regulation of sports betting.

What is Endorphina's expectation regarding the legalization of other verticals, such as land-based casinos and online gaming in Brazil?
Our focus is online games and casinos, but I think the more the industry is popularized the better it will be for all verticals.
