The most important winter tournament in Latin America already has a date set to take place. The BSOP Winter Millions will start on the 19th of July in the Golden Hall of the WTC Sheraton, in São Paulo.
There will be R$ 12 million (US$ 2.4m) in guaranteed prize money, a record for the stage, which will have 38 tournaments until July 26th. Of this amount, R$ 4 million (US$ 800k) is reserved for Main Event winners, while the Super High Rollers (R$ 1 million / US$ 200k)), with a buy-in of R$ 30,000 (US$ 6,000), is a highlight. The Start-Up Mystery K.O. (R$ 1 million / US$ 200k) and High Rollers (R$ 1.5 million / US$ 300k) also have millionaire prize pools.
Of course, the organization also thought about those who have more modest bankrolls, but want to be part of the party. In addition to several editions of the Super 500 tournament, the NLH Meia Milha is also scheduled, which has a buy-in of R$500 (US$ 100) and R$500,000 (US$ 100k) guaranteed.
