GMB – First of all, thank you for bringing the Jules Rimet Cup to Brazil as a right winger for the Brazilian national team in 1970. What does your history in football represent, which ended up culminating in you being a brand ambassador for the Better Collective, a global company that operates in the field of sports betting?
Jairzinho – Football is that richness that we all like to see and applaud. I'm part of it and I've always been concerned about doing the best for Brazilian football and the world. And this has happened positively in my life. Today Brazil is the only country to boast more than four titles and this is a great joy for the Brazilian people.
And today representing Better Collective, which was born in Denmark and expanded globally. Working in the sports betting area is a joy because it shows your vocation to associate with football?
It's a positive step and a fantastic wave that needs to continue to be developed. Football is this world communication vehicle that speaks a single language, which is football. It brings the whole world together, regardless of color or richness, and this is even more fantastic through media. That's why I say that football in Brazil is a victory of joy and affection among all those who seek to look and reward themselves by going to the fields to applaud this fantastic art.
What does being a Better Collective ambassador mean to the hero of the third world championship for Brazil?
For me it is another victory and a goal in my career. Proud to have been sought out by Better Collective, who have found a true champion. I'm the only world champion player who scored goals in every World Cup game. To date, no one has come close, but hopefully it will, especially if it's a Brazilian.
