Competition of 2023 calendar

Sponsored by 1XBET, CBCS 2023 announces US$ 200k prize pool and new format

With the naming rights and the support of the bookmaker 1XBET, the Brazilian Circuit of Counter Strike Global Offensive (CBCS) announced its competition calendar for 2023, featuring a total prize pool of up to R$1 million (US$ 201,000). The season, managed and produced by LnK Gaming, will consist of five stages, including an inviting event, and will feature top CS:GO teams from Latin America.

This year, CBCS will have an all-new look and feel for Brazilian audiences and CS:GO fans alike. A grand prize for each stage, with the presence of the largest organizations in the Americas. The circuit is necessary for Brazil to raise its level, reveal new talents and demonstrate our strength on the international stage.

In addition to attracting top teams, CBCS 1XBET will provide an opportunity for anyone to register their team for free in the Open Qualifier for all competitions, except for the Invitational, which will be reserved for the winners of the CBCS 1XBET Masters, #2 and #3, as well as guest teams.

During the season, the competition will have five stages. The dates and details of the dispute have already been released by the organization of the tournament. The first part of CBCS 2023 starts in May and runs through June. At this stage, players compete for a prize of R$ 100,000 (US$ 20,100), in addition to a place in the CBCS Masters, which will take place in July.

In the second semester, the best teams return for the second and third phases, worth R$ 100,000 (US$ 20,100) each. The winning teams get the chance to compete in the CBCS Invitational, the last event of the year.

Another big news of the dispute is that anyone can register to compete in the Open Qualifier of all competitions. The goal is to give amateurs a chance and reveal new talents for the scene. The only exception is the Invitational, which will have the participation of only the CBCS Masters winners, in stages 2 and 3, in addition to invited teams.

“This year, CBCS will have a completely new face and with more emotion for the Brazilian public and CS:GO fans. We prepared and put together a great prize for each of the stages, increasing the level of the challenge and with the presence of the largest organizations in the Americas. The Circuit is necessary for Brazil to increase its level more and more, reveal new talents and demonstrate our strength on the international stage,” commented Tiago Xisto, general director of the organizing company.

For fans unable to attend the event in person, the Brazilian CS:GO Circuit will be broadcast by streamer Alexandre ‘Gaules’, who went viral on social media this week after eliminating Paris-Saint Germain star Neymar in a Counter-Strike friendly match.
